The first week of the new year 2022 is in full swing!

A good moment to look back over the past year. Because in 2021 xappido was able to deliver many interesting projects together with our clients.

Canton of Zurich: the foundation stone for “ZHservices”

Take the new project for the canton of Zurich, which with eEinbürgerung lays the foundation stone for “ZHservices”, the canton’s new eGovernment platform. From March 2022 this will make it possible to submit naturalisation applications in the canton of Zurich digitally and to stay informed throughout the process. Our team is involved as one of the service providers on the project and is developing the entire user interface of the web portal.

Zurich Airport: bronze at the Digital Economy Award

Another highlight from 2021: with Zurich Airport we won bronze in the customer experience field, in the “Highest Digital Quality” category at the Digital Economy Award. We are delighted with the recognition, and it spurs us on to aim for gold next time. At Zurich Airport, the digital “ZRH Center” is developing into an essential interface with customers and will be extended further in 2022. We are not running out of ideas for improving the airport’s customer service in this area and simplifying their processes.

Schöni Transport AG: the customer portal keeps growing

In 2021 we again supported Schöni Transport AG and all its subsidiaries with digitalisation. With my.schoeni.ch we have grown into “the” customer portal in the Swiss logistics scene. We delivered extensions for Schöni Transport AG, for instance to manage subcontracted transports better and to generate quotations for transport orders.

VisualNumbers: from Design Sprint to MVP

In 2021 we decided to become more attractive to the SME market. In early summer, at a Design Sprint, the idea for a product took shape. VisualNumbers is the brand-new budgeting software that we delivered as a software-as-a-service solution in the form of an MVP by the end of November. Through a partnership with the Swiss online ERP provider bexio, this product will be extended over the coming months as well, so that it offers fiduciaries a flexible and reliable solution for companies’ strategic financial planning too.

An outlook on 2022

As for the outlook, I can only say this: 2022 is going to be great! xappido wishes you all a creative, innovative and bold new year – we look forward to continuing the digital journey with you.
