Three years of the digital customer portal at Schöni Transport AG
Three years after the launch we asked Schöni Transport AG: what has the customer portal really changed day to day?
“The best online portal in the Swiss logistics scene!”
From the fax machine to a digital process. The digital portal developed by xappido for the customers of Schöni Transport AG has been running for three years. Now, after three years, we were keen to hear how it has gone.
Before: fax, telephone and email
In 2018 Schöni Transport AG set out on its digital transformation together with xappido. Until then, customer orders were taken laboriously by fax, email or telephone. Every order had to be entered by hand, every query answered individually, and anyone who wanted to know where their load was picked up the phone.
A portal tailored to Schöni Transport AG
Now the processes have been streamlined and are represented in a digital customer portal built specifically for Schöni Transport AG. Customers enter their transport orders themselves and follow them online, at any time and from anywhere, without the detour via the telephone.
“Mega happy”: the verdict after three years
Three years is long enough to see whether a portal holds up day to day or merely looked good in the presentation. Mark Räber, CIO of Schöni Transport AG, is “mega happy” with the digital customer portal. After three years of experience he is convinced: “We have the best online portal in the Swiss logistics scene!”
