Greatest Clips – our year in review, unfiltered

A year in review can be many things: figures, milestones, projects, successes. All of that is part of xappido too, of course. But to start 2026 we want to show, for once, what usually stays behind the scenes.

What usually disappears in the edit

Our Greatest Clips are a collection of the moments that normally get cut: blackouts mid-sentence, getting tongue-tied, fits of laughter, slips of the tongue – and precisely the small imperfections that make us who we are as a team.

Anyone who regularly stands in front of a camera knows the pattern: the sentence is there in your head, but not on your tongue. A technical term you use every day refuses to cooperate at exactly the decisive moment. Someone laughs off camera – and the take is done for anyway. In the final video none of this is left. In this compilation it is the only thing there is.

There are people behind the software

Because for all the professionalism, all the technology and all the code: in the end it is people who work at xappido. People who think, tinker, discuss, laugh and sometimes stumble too.

That is more than a charming aside. Anyone who builds software that others use every day has to listen, ask questions, discard assumptions and do things a second time. That willingness not to mistake the first attempt for the final result is the same in small things as in large ones – in front of the camera as in a project.

Progress does not come from perfection

These outtakes remind us that progress does not come from perfection, but from collaboration, openness and a good deal of humour. And that is exactly what shapes our work every day, within the team and in working with our clients.

A team that can laugh together about a failed take will also speak openly about a bug in the code, about a requirement that is not yet clear, or about an idea that turns out to be a detour. That is precisely where the solutions that hold up come from.
