We are celebrating 10 years of xappido!

On 8 October 2014, our trio Manuel, Thomas and Sandro founded xappido ag. Starting out in a windowless hobby room, xappido ag has grown over the past 10 years into an established software company.

With clients across Switzerland such as Flughafen Zürich AG, Schöni Transport AG and the Canton of Zurich, and a team that keeps growing!

From a windowless hobby room to a software company

Ten years lie between that first desk in the hobby room and the portals that are in use every day now. What has not changed in that time: that we build software for the people who have to work with it, and that the three founders still sit at the same table.

To celebrate our tenth anniversary we are offering a look back at ten successful years full of innovation and creativity. In a video series, our three founders tell you how they came up with the idea of starting their own company, how the name and the logo came about, and take you along on xappido’s digital journey.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a warm thank you for the past 10 years: to our clients, to our companions along the way and of course to the entire xappido team. We look forward to continuing the digital journey with you!

The outlook for the next 10 years is promising: in the summer of 2025 we moved into our new offices in Sursee. To mark the occasion we held a large opening party with and for our clients — you can read about it in the post LEVEL UP. We are proud of the past 10 years, and we are certain that the next 10 will be just as varied, innovative, creative, rewarding and wonderful.
